Unlike conventional liquid paints or solvent-based paints, powder coating involves spraying a powder-like paint directly onto metal. This technology, also known as ‘powder coating,’ uses electricity to apply the powdered paint to the metal, and then the color is set by baking it at high temperatures. Since powder coating does not use harmful solvents, it provides an environmentally friendly painting solution. Additionally, compared to solvent-based paints, powder coating creates a thicker and more durable finish, making it ideal for use as a ‘rust prevention’ coating.
